MISSION
This site is built by a homesteader for homesteaders and small farmers. And like most homesteads, it’s a work in progress. Right now you’re looking at the “zip ties and baling wire” version. It works, but it will get better as it gets used, tested, and improved.
I built this site to support food sovereignty by helping solve one of the hardest parts of raising your own animals: harvest day. Anyone who has done it knows how many decisions pile up all at once. Where is the kill happening? Who’s doing it and who’s helping? What tools are needed? Where will the carcass hang, and how are you getting it there? And once it’s cooled, where is the meat actually being cut and packaged?
Why this exists
The goal of this site is to become a practical hub for people who raise animals, people who process them, and people who want to buy directly from those producers. Right now it’s the first pass — getting the core systems working and learning what actually helps the people using it.
